Support device for lorries

The device (1) has a support body (3) displaceably, vertically arranged opposite to a housing body (2) between a storage position and a support position towards a lorry i.e. trailer, at an operating state. The support body is automatically displaced in a direction of the support position by a drive unit e.g. hydraulic drive or pneumatic drive or electromotive drive, at another operating state. The drive unit causes displacement of the support body in the direction of the support position when a control unit connected with the drive unit determines a critical driving state of the lorry.
