Method of detecting abnormal combustion for internal combustion engines based on modelled distributions of combustion indicators

The method involves collecting end values from N values indicating combustions for different operating points of a spark ignition internal combustion engine to obtain evolution of coefficients of theoretical distribution law. A parameter characterizing the evolution of coefficients is determined. A start of abnormal combustion is detected, and the flow of the detected abnormal combustion is controlled in a combustion chamber.
