The system (1) has a housing (2), a fan (12) for circulating air and an electrical heating device (3) i.e. positive temperature coefficient-heating element (4), operated with high voltage. A plug (5) is arranged in an area of a front wall (15) of a motor vehicle and has an electrical contact element (7), where the plug is provided for electrically connecting the heating device with a high-voltage current source (9). The plug is fastened to the housing and connected to a power cable (8), where the housing accommodates a control and/or regulating unit (10) for the heating device.
