The positive temperature coefficient heating device has a housing containing at least one positive temperature coefficient element (4) held in contact with at least one contact plate (6,8) via a spring element (9,10). The housing has at least one retaining rib (5) at the periphery of the positive temperature coefficient element, cooperating with the spring element for providing the contact force.
