Process for the purification of compressed air from the compressed air producing systems of a motor vehicle, and cartridge therefor

The method involves controlling compressed air introduced by a compressor and controlled by a preliminary filter (15). A coalescence filter (17) is separated before the air is controlled by a depositing zone (23) filled with a treatment medium (24) during regeneration of the particle picking up and isolating after the filter (17). The particle isolated in the filter (15) with a regeneration air flow is transferred into atmosphere. An independent claim is also included for a cartridge for purifying compressed air from a compressed air producing system of a motor vehicle.
