Fuel cell combination with self contained water balance

The system has fluid connection between a cathode (C) of an acid fuel cell and a cathode of an alkaline fuel cell. Fluid connection exists between an anode ( A) of the acid fuel cell and an anode of the alkaline fuel cell. The cells are arranged alternatively, so that each acid cell is adjacent to two alkaline cells and each alkaline cell is adjacent to two acid cells. The alternative arrangement of the cells is circular.
