Fuel cell system with improved electric contacting
DRIVE
September 7, 2011
The system (1) has fuel cells (3a, 3b) i.e. solid oxide fuel cells, arranged on a carrier substrate (2). An electrode-electrolyte unit has electrolytes arranged between electrodes (4a, 4b) that are respectively formed as a cathode and an anode. Electrically insulating insulation elements (5, 6) are arranged on the substrate. Metallic contact elements (7, 8) are arranged at a distance to the substrate, and are arranged on one of the insulation elements. The contact elements electrically contact one of the electrodes, and are formed as self-supporting sheet elements made of nickel. An independent claim is also included for a method for electrically contacting a fuel cell system.
