Intake system for internal combustion engine

The induction system has at least one unprocessed air line, and air filter and at least one clean air line. The air filter is in an air filter housing made of plastic. At least one housing wall of the air filter housing consists of an element (24) which damps that vibrations of the housing wall. This element is fixed indirectly via a pressure plate (25).
