Pedal structure for a motor vehicle

The assembly has a control lever (1) to control a clutch and/or brake pedal (2). A tipper (10) and a screwing part (15) integrate the control lever with a counter flange (5). Openings (16, 17), ramps and counter-ramps (21) disintegrate the control lever and the counter flange in case of frontal impact, by lateral translation of the counter flange to cause the control lever and the pedal to tilt towards the front of a motor vehicle.
