Pedal assembly retractable in case of a frontal impact on a vehicle

The assembly has a pedal support (6) fixed to a panel by pads along direction of frontal shock. Ramps face upper ends of control levers (2, 4) of clutch and brake pedals (3, 5), respectively. The support rotates towards the panel by crushing the pads during shock such that upper ends of the levers are supported on the ramps to cause swinging of the levers towards bottom layer of cellar.
