The pleated filter insert (1), for the inflow air filter (19) into the interior of a vehicle, is a pleated filter (2) with pleats (4) across its longitudinal line (3). A frame element (8) is at least at one end edge (6), across the longitudinal line, with rubber elastic pliability to fit into a filter housing (9).
