Tensioning device for an anti-skid chain

The tensioning device has a longitudinally elastic tensioning element (22) used for tensioning the snow chain via an outer holder (1) for the snow chain, which is fitted with a retaining strap (9) having guide loops (18-21) for the tensioning element. The latter has a fixing (23,24) at opposite ends securing it to 2 tensioning sections (14,15) of the outer holder.
