The pull-through eye of the tensioning chain of an anti-skid chain has a connecting section with two hook-form connecting arms (1,2) defining an entry opening for a link (3) of a side chain (4) on the anti-skid chain. The pull-through eye has a closed guide channel for the tensioning chain and is separated from the connecting section by a stabilizing bridge (8). The distance between the outer sides of the pull-through eye in the region of the stabilizing bridge is greater than in the region of the bottom (11) of its guide channel and the ends of the connecting arms.
