Lighting device for a vehicle comprising a sensor

The road vehicle lighting system has two separate modules (1,1'). Each module has a rear light (3), a brake light (4), a winking indicator lamp (5), a reversing light (6), a fog light (7), and a side marking light (8). Each module has an ambient light sensor (10), a dirt sensor (9) and a distance and visibility sensor (11). Lamps and sensors may be accommodated inside a transparent housing. The sensors are connected to a local control circuit (12) external control circuit. The modules have a socket (13) for a LIN-bus (15) and a socket (14) for a vehicle bus line (16), connected to an external control circuit (2).
