Control system for vehicles

Motor vehicle control system has a number of functional sub-systems, e.g. climate control, telematics, drive control and chassis control. The control units for said system are combined in local modules dependent on their position. Each module has a module bus joining the control units together and each module bus has an interface joining it to the central data bus.
