Process for trip planification of a submarine

The method involves providing an electric drive with a battery for power supply. A consumption profile for travel duration and a type and duration of charging cycles of the battery up to a selected future point of time are selected. A remaining available energy reserve of the battery for the time is predicted based on the selected profile, the type and duration of charging cycles and the travel duration by a navigation computer (NR).
