Contact element for fuel cell stack

Contact elements (7) for a fuel cell stack to connect electrodes (3,4) from neighboring cells comprise at least one gas-filled closed hollow space. Preferably the element is of deformable material, preferably metal, and is given elastic properties by the gas. Independent claims are also included for fuel cell stacks comprising the above.
