The invention relates to a vehicle seat belt arrangement comprising a belt webbing defining a torso belt section (8) having a first end portion (8a) arranged in a spool (10) and a second end portion (8b), said belt webbing also defining a thigh belt section (9) having a first end portion (9a) arranged in a spool (12) and a second end portion (9b). According to the invention, said second end portions (8b, 9b) are connected via a distancer element (13; 13') which during use extends generally in the longitudinal direction of said vehicle, thereby maintaining said second end portion (8b) of the torso belt section (8) at a predetermined distance from said second end portion (9b) of the thigh belt section (9).
