Armrest and seat with this armrest

The armrest (20) has a convex lower area fitted with two parallel positioned rails. The concave upper area of the base (10) of the armrest (20) joined to the central console of the passenger cabin is also equipped with a pair of rails. The joined rails serve as a ball bearing cage for sliding the armrest (20) to the front and back to its prior position. The front area of the armrest (20) is lifted in the process. The rear of the base (10) can be used for the accommodation of a ventilation and heating device (15).
