Crash-active headrest

Headrest (1) comprises an upper link (11) and a lower link (15) aligned parallel to each other. The headrest can be moved from a starting position into a further comfort position in normal use and secured by a ring element. Preferred Features: The lower link and the upper link have longitudinal sides. The lower link is longer than the upper link. The headrest can be reset after a crash by triggering the crash block.
