Head support (10) comprises a support part (12) which can be moved from a starting position running parallel to the head support base body (18) into an exposed position. A separating join (20) is formed in one surface. The support part and the base body are joined via an adjusting mechanism (22) so that the support part can be reversibly positioned in all three spatial directions (x, y, z) opposite the base body. Preferred Features: The support part has at least one first lateral comfort wing (14) and at least one second lateral comfort wing (16). The support part can be reversibly moved in the x-direction and in the y-direction opposite the base body.
