Roof rails
DRIVE
October 5, 2005
The roof railing has at least one foot (12) with a pin (16) and a railing rod (14) connected to the foot. The rod has a hollow profile (15). The pin has a cross-section corresponding to that of the hollow profile except for some play due to manufacturing tolerances. The pin engages in the profile and is adhered to the rod via an adhesive provided between the periphery of the pin and the wall of the hollow profile. An elastic element is arranged on the pin around the pin periphery and the profile wall. This is for centering the pin in the profile.
