Vehicle steering wheel

The steering wheel (1) has a hub body (10) provided with one or more spokes (12) for supporting a wheel rim (11), one or more of the steering wheel parts provided with an operating device for control and/or regulation of component parts of the automobile. The operating device is provided as a reflection optical sensor device with a number of functional surfaces (21) operated by the fingers of the automobile driver. An independent claim for a method for using an automobile steering wheel provided with a reflection optical sensor operating device is also included.
