Motor vehicle including function actuation by eye tracking

Vehicle has control elements in the form of symbol surfaces that represent vehicle functions that are to be implemented. The vehicle has an arrangement for detecting the viewing direction of the driver in respect of the control surfaces in order to trigger corresponding functions. At least one of the symbol surfaces has a fixed symbol and an associated fixed function, while at least a further symbol surface has a variable symbol and a variable associated function.
