Driver assistance system

The system has several sub-functions that support the driver in driving the vehicle and at least one input element (22) that enables the driver to switch sub-functions off individually. One of the sub-functions is a speed regulation function and another is a distance regulation function. One of the sub-functions is a warning function that advises the driver of a warning signal regarding an impending collision hazard.
