Display device for motor vehicle

The device has a display screen (16) movable between active and raised positions in which a display side of the screen is completely visible and not directly visible, respectively. A display opening (24) displays a predetermined part (33) of the screen. A mirror (34) sends a light emitted by the part towards a display window (32) in raised position to form an image of the part, so that information on the part is visible for a user.
