The device has a mechanical system for indicating correct locking of fixation units with a receiving structure, where units lock an infant seat in the receiving structure. The system has an inlet part movable between two positions, in which each fixation unit is not locked and locked, respectively, and an outlet part (3) movable between two positions in which an assembly of fixation units are locked and not locked, respectively. The inlet part has a stopper portion (21) arranged such that the portion acts on a stopper portion (31) of the outlet part for placing the outlet part in one of its positions.
