Four-point-arm for connecting a rigid axle to the frame of a utility vehicle
DRIVE
July 27, 2005
The four-point arm, to mount a rigid axle to a truck frame, has a hollow body (10) with the contour in an X- or H-shape using two high tensile sheet plates welded together with mounting eyes at the ends of the arms. The sheet plates are identical half-shells (11), welded together on the center symmetrical plane of the body. The mounting eyes (16) are of solid metal, with welding contours (17) for circular welded seams (14) at the arm ends (15) of the hollow body.
