A run-flat core (10) has a shape including a box (11) which has a closed upper surface (13) and an open lower surface and includes a reinforcement plate (12) provided for reinforcement within the box. The core (10) includes a plurality of blocks (15) formed in the same shape with each other and connected in a circumferential direction of a wheel. The core has flanges (18) protruding in right and left directions at a lower portion of the core. A belt (19) or wire (20) is wound onto the flanges, and by tensioning the belt or wire, the core is pressed to a rim. The blocks (15) are connected to each other at a lower portion of the core. The core may include a longitudinal groove (10c), and by winding the belt (19) or wire (20) onto the longitudinal groove (10c), the core is pressed to the rim.
