Front module with mounting carrier for a vehicle

The module has a cross strut (1) acting as impact absorber, and fastened via a crash box (2) to the longitudinal body struts. The assembly bearer (4) is screwed detachable to each crash box, via flat flanges (7,9) with screw holes (8,10) on each box and the bearer. The flanges are tensioned relative to each other, and the screw holes in one flange are wider in longitudinal vehicle direction, than the screw diameters. The assembly bearer is supported on support faces (11) on the crash boxes, which are at an angle to the flanges.
