Method for navigation support of a vehicle and navigation centre

The method involves a navigation device (41-43) in a vehicle issuing navigation instructions for controlling the vehicle. It involves sending a route containing user data including a destination from a terminal to a navigation center (5) via a communications network (1), storing the data in association with the user in the center, determining whether a new or deleted destination exists for the user and if so sending new route data to the user's navigation device via a second communications network (2), which determines the current position and sends this with at least one received destination to the navigation center via the second communications network for route computation. An independent claim is also included for the following: (A) a navigation device (B) and a navigation center for supporting navigation of two or more vehicles.
