Method for vehicle navigation

The vehicle navigation method involves transmitting journey route data from a service center (30) to a combination instrument (1) in a vehicle and determining driving instructions in the combination instrument for output to the driver using the route data. Transmission of the route data can be requested via a mobile radio device (20) from the service center.
