Side panel with integrated guide rail for a roller blind

DRIVE May 4, 2005
Source
The roller blind for car rear windows has guide profiles at its lower end. These move in grooves (40) at the sides of the window as the blind unrolls. The grooves are formed by rails with a C-shaped cross-section which are mounted in a gap between sections (46, 47) of lining, against the side (49, 50) which faces the exterior of the vehicle. An independent claim is included for a set of linings fitted with a rail as described.
