Restraining system with airbag

A method for clip fitting an airbag module onto a steering wheel has a specially shaped spring (16) shaped like a mousetrap. Two free ends of the spring have parallel sections, with hooked ends, and clip into the airbag module. The middle section of the spring is connected to the free ends by two coil spring sections which provide a sprung support for the middle section (24) to grip under retaining hooks (12) in the steering wheel frame.
