Load compartment cover with tying means

The loading area (2) of the estate type vehicle can be covered with a flexible sheet (12) wound up on a drum moving in bearings (10) fixed behind the rear seats (7) if not in use. The lateral edges of the sheet (1, 2) are guided in an undercut groove located at each of two longitudinally positioned aluminum profiles (15). Each of the profiles (15) is provided with a row of holes (16) for the joining of hanging elements (35) carrying items like a shopping bag (17). Strap tightening elements with soft friction coatings can be inserted in another groove at each of the rails (15).
