Airbag module

The airbag module (10) has a folded airbag sack (12), a gas generator (14) contained within the latter and at least one fixing lug (20) secured to the airbag sack, extending around the packet provided by the folded airbag sack and the gas generator and attached to this packet. The fixing lug can be formed integral with the airbag sack. An independent claim for a manufacturing method for an automobile airbag module is also included.
