DRIVE January 19, 2005
Source
A control process for parking a motor vehicle comprises determining the actual steering angle (1), detecting surrounding obstructions (2), calculating the actual (3) and ideal (4) paths and finding an ideal steering angle (5) for this path. The actual/ideal difference is displayed as a flasher (8) of frequency (9) depending on this difference. An independent claim is also included for a parking/leaving aid for a motor vehicle using the above process.
