Airbag device for motor vehicles

The airbag device for motor vehicles, and especially a side airbag has gas outlet holes formed by incisions (17) in the wall of a gas filling pipe (12) and through impressions (18) in the wall material. The incisions extend parallel to the pipe axis. Two incisions with a small space in between are provided for each gas outlet hole. The impressions are provided either between the incisions and the pipe material is non-worked outside the incisions, or the impressions are provided outside the incisions and the pipe material is non-worked between the incisions.
