Navigation method and system

The method involves receiving a set of data by a navigation device, and receiving another set of data from another navigation device by the former navigation device. The latter set of data includes data representing a current position of the latter navigation device. A positional data in the former navigation device is calculated on the basis of the two data sets, to specify a route of the former navigation device. An independent claim is also included for a navigation device that is utilized in a vehicle.
