Transmission arrangement and its operation method

Gearbox arrangement for transfer of a torque from a drive unit (14) to a drive axle (40) of a vehicle (10) with a load-switching gearbox (18) and a clutch (20). During a gear change of the gearbox in which the drive unit operating conditions remain essentially the same, the clutch is at least partially automatically opened so that a constant torque is transmitted from the drive unit to the drive axle. An independent claim is made for a method for controlling torque transfer between a vehicle drive and its drive axle.
