The drive train has an engine, a gearbox and at least one gearbox input shaft with a coupling unit (103) connected between them for torque transfer, whereby the coupling unit contains at least one friction clutch (171,172). The coupling unit is supported on a gearbox housing in a radially fixed manner and so as to allow limited axial displacement.
