Force estimation of an electromechanical brake

The method involves measuring an instant value of an angle of rotation, and acquiring an instant intensity value as a measured intensity. An instant value of a control variable is calculated from a difference between the measured angle and an estimated angle. A load torque is estimated from the measured angle and intensity and from the control variable. An instant value of a force is estimated from the estimated torque. An independent claim is also included for a device of implementing a method of estimating a force.
