The drive from the engine (24) passes through a clutch (22) and a shaft (18) leading to the change-speed gearbox (20). The vehicle may be operated with four-wheel-drive. The gearbox contains a differential (76) dividing transmitted torque between a shaft for the rear wheels (72) and a quill shaft driving the front wheels (26). The front wheels are driven via a bevel gear (52) an intermediate shaft (34') and a reduction gear (60) and differential (16).
