The heat exchange unit for installation in a motor vehicle comprises a heat exchanger (3) with a cover (4), and a sealing element (10) with contact and fixing sections (15, 11). The sealing element consists at least partially of an elastic and substantially homogeneous material, with the flexibility of the contact section being higher than that of the fixing section.
