Holding device for a beverage container

The arrangement has a carriage (12) movable between retracted and deployed positions like a drawer, on which a drinks container can be placed when deployed, and a holding element movably attached to the carriage, movable up and down by a linkage control with carriage movement and that supports an inserted container laterally. The holding arrangement has a second linkage control (46,50) offset relative to the first for moving the holding element up and down when the carriage is deployed and retracted.
