Vehicle seat belt system

The arrangement has front (1) and rear (2) seat row, a safety belt with a chest section with an associated a belt linkage element (6a-6c) movable along a holding rail (5) and fixable in different positions corresponding to positions of a movable seat. The seat can be moved between the front and rear rows and the holding element extends primarily in the longitudinal direction and is long enough for the linkage element to be movable between positions corresponding to the two rows.
