Holder for beverage receptacle

The holder has a carriage (14) movable between inserted and deployed positions, a holding element (22) that can be pivoted upwards with a drinks container insertion opening (24), a container stop element (30) movable downwards on the carriage and a transmission device (36) that moves the stop element downwards when the holding element is pivoted upwards. A holding element blocking device (36,48) blocks the holding element from being pushed down.
