Device for reducing the noise emissions

The device for the reducing of noise emissions in an air induction pipe (1) in an internal combustion engine has a housing (3) in the form of a flexible bellows encompassing the pipe. The housing is sealed gastight in relation to the air induction pipe on one side, and in relation to an air guiding component (5) on the other side. The air guiding component may be a charger or charge air cooler. The housing has at least one bellied section (3a,3a') and at least one waisted section (3b,3b'), whereby opening (2,2') are formed in the bellied sections.
