Intake system for an internal combustion engine
DRIVE
November 20, 2002
The air intake system, for an internal combustion motor, has an air pipe (16) which is secured at one end by a flange at a motor component, e.g. the throttle flap housing (10). The flange has at least one opening, to be engaged by the fasteners to hold the air pipe securely and in a release mounting. The air pipe is a common junction pipe for two air pipes (12,14) served by air filters (2,4) and charging air coolers (6,8).
