Retractable washing device for the glass cover of a lamp or signalling device of a motor vehicle

The device has a jet mounted directly or indirectly on jet holder (3). The jet holder presents an active position and a rest position, and is supplied by a liquid source for washing under pressure. A stylus piece (4) is mounted directly or indirectly on the jet holder by mechanical fixing unit authorizing displacement of the stylus piece with respect to the jet holder according to rotation axis and a translation axis. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle.
